The doorkeepers said, --No Room. Saw that ye Canopy, Yeomen, &c. would prevent my seeing. They desired me if I could not get in at ye other door to come back. Found a number of people waiting there and at ye door of the First Gallery; so went back, entered and stood in ye same disagreeable situation I did last night. But I saw the inimitable Garrick very well. [Comments on excellence of whole cast.] Scarcely cool now past eleven o'clock. Event Comment: DDaily Post, 8 Feb.: Yesterday...some Persons in the gallery were so clamorous that the Play could not go on, but a Constable, assisted by a Serjeant and the Guards, prevail'd on them to walk out. gne of them was carried before a Justice of the Peace, and confess'd what he had done. It is to be observ'd that this Person had the Scornful Lady lately acted for his Benefit, in Consideration of his withdrawing a Play which was offer'd by him to be acted there, which Play we hear is since carried to the other House
