[The London Chronicle 1758, p. 462, comments fully and very favorably on the performance of The Wonder, specifying the acting of Garrick, Miss Macklin, Palmer, and Mrs Davies, adding: "To this comedy was added a Pantomime Entertainment called Harlequin Ranger, which in spite of whatever may be urged to the contrary, I think diverting.
