Event Comment: This Musical Farce of one Act was wrote by Mr G on purpose to introduce Miss Abrams (a Jew) about 17 Years old. She is very small, a Swarthy Complexion, has a very sweet Voice and a fine Shake, but not quite power enough yet-both the Piece and Young Lady were receiv'd with Great Applause (Hopkins Diary). The Conscious Lovers oblig'd to be deferred till Monday, with which will be performed the last new Grand Ballet, The Savage Hunters. Event Comment: Although Pepys attended this performance, he did not name the theatre. As this play was acted at Vere St. on 15 March 1661@2 and there also on 19 May 1662, it has been assigned to that playhouse. Pen, who had got room for my wife and his daughter in the pit, he and I into one of the boxes, and there we sat and heard The Little Thiefe, a pretty play and well done

Event Comment: A blunder in ye same place (the Giants) a great noise-Horse beans thrown-when ye curtain was down, Mr Woodward went on & said-Gentlemen I am very sorry this Accident shou'd happen, but before this little piece is perform'd again, I'll take care to see it so well practis'd that no Mistake can happen for ye furture.
