[Herrington, who was from the Royalty, and Mrs Farmer are both identified in Public Advertiser, 30 Aug. As afterpiece the playbill announces Peeping Tom, but "The fatigues Edwin had undergone at his benefit the preceding evening rendered him incapable of performing last night. Peeping Tom was therefore obliged to be changed to The Golden Pippin" (Public Advertiser, 30 Aug.)
