The <i>Prologue</i> was spoken by $Bensley=, the <i>Epilogue</i> by $Mrs Yates=. The characters were very richly dressed in the dresses of the time. The improper use of ridiculous modern dresses on the stage often offends me (<i>Diary of Sylas Neville</i>, unpublished MS portion).
